Unclog Dishwasher Hose
Run it under the kitchen faucet to rinse off any food particles and debris.
Unclog dishwasher hose. A better way is to use high pressure water down the hose to wash away the debris. Use a bowl if the dishwasher drain hose has water in it. Use that to scrape away clogs that may exist in the hose.
Look for the basket shaped component at the bottom of your dishwasher. Remove it with a screwdriver and then just like you did with the drain hose use a de clogging device to remove any debris that may be clogging the drain. Loosen the drain hose clamp with a screwdriver and disconnect the hose from the dishwasher.
Detach the drain hose. Detach the drain hose by removing the dishwasher s kickplate and loosening the hose s wire clamp fastener. Find out where your dishwasher s drain hose is connected to the sink or the garbage disposal drain pipe.
Pour the solution into the basket at the bottom and let is set for 15 minutes. If none of these tactics work try clearing the drain from inside the dishwasher with a diy mixture of equal parts baking soda and vinegar to unclog the drain. You can damage the filter if you re not careful.
Once you ve found it loosen the pipe clamp and carefully disconnect the hose. Disconnect the power cord and the water supply. Located behind the dishwasher or under your sink the drain hose runs between the drain and the dishwasher pump.
Remove clogs by bending the hose back and forth flushing it with water or snaking it with a straightened coat hanger. If your dishwasher is backing up it s possible that the drain hose is clogged. You may have to pull the dishwasher out or locate it under the sink.
