Find out where your dishwasher s drain hose is connected to the sink or the garbage disposal drain pipe. When the vinegar and baking soda mixture cease bubbling pour the bleach into the detergent dispenser replace the dish racks and run the dishwasher on a regular cycle. Your dishwasher drain may be clogged with bones noodles shards or any kind of food debris and waste.
Tough food particles or wet chunks of paper from container labels can get caught in the filter and keep water from draining. You may have to pull the dishwasher out or locate it under the sink. From there it gets pumped through a hose to the sink where it attaches to the sink tailpipe by means of a t connector.
In order pour the salt baking soda and vinegar into the dishwasher drain. As a first step clean the filter then rerun the dishwasher to see if it drains. If the hose is blocked look for any kinks in the hose and straighten them.
Take a damp piece of cloth and wipe around the filter and catch basin. Try to blow through the hose to make sure it s clear. First pour a solution of baking soda and vinegar down the basket at the bottom of your dishwasher.
Rinse the dishwasher tub with hot water and replace the drain filter. Remove it with a screwdriver and then just like you did with the drain hose use a de clogging device to remove any debris that may be clogging the drain. If you have a garbage disposal the dishwasher connects to that.
